Doina Popescu

Ms. Popescu is a founder and Managing Partner of ForeVest Capital Partners. She heads the Bucharest office and is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, executing, and managing investments in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to forming ForeVest, she has been working with the ForeVest team as part of PineBridge Investments since 1998. Ms. Popescu serves on the board of Digital Cable Systems. Previously, she served on the boards of Astral Telecom, EasyPack, UTI Group, and NetCity Luxten Lighting, and Orange Romania. Ms. Popescu specializes in the telecom and media, IT and technology services, municipal services, specialized manufacturing, construction materials, food processing, FMCG, and retail sectors. Prior to joining PineBridge, she was an Investment Officer with the Danube Fund, part of the Greek Alpha Group, covering the Balkan Region. Her background includes eight years of operational experience as an engineer and project manager, as well as prior experience in the advertising industry. Ms. Popescu is a Founding Member of the Romanian Association of Financial Analysts. Ms. Popescu holds an MSc in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, and an MBA in Finance from a joint program of McGill University and HEC Montreal in Romania. Ms. Popescu is a Romanian national.
