Mr. Mellinger is a founder and Managing Partner of ForeVest Capital Partners. Prior to forming ForeVest, he founded PineBridge Investments’ Central and Eastern European private equity business in 1998 and had overall responsibility for the firm’s private equity activities in the region. Mr. Mellinger was instrumental in raising New Europe Partners I and II and had been directly involved in the sourcing, evaluation, execution, monitoring and exits of portfolio investments. He has also served on the investment committees of both NEP funds as well as other PineBridge emerging market private equity funds. Mr. Mellinger has more than 35 years of experience in investments, finance and management, including over 20 years in private equity. From 1992 until he joined PineBridge, he was co-Head of the Financial Institutions Team at the EBRD. Prior to that, Mr. Mellinger was a Director, Head of Business Development with Banque Sovac, a consumer finance, leasing and mortgage finance affiliate of Lazard Frères. His previous experience includes being in charge of export credit finance and financial relations with Central and Eastern Europe at the French Treasury. Mr. Mellinger is a graduate of the French École Nationale d’Administration and the Institut d’Études Politiques of Paris, and holds a degree in Economics and a Law Degree from La Sorbonne. Mr. Mellinger is a French national.
